An annual new year event "Hakone Ekiden" is my favorite time to spend at home. It's really exciting to watch youth athletes power every year. I admire their strong passion and consistent effort. I expect their great aspiration will make the way to the next age.
I am glued to the live telecast of "Hakone Ekiden" in January 2nd and 3rd every year、too. However, although there was strong passion and consistent effort of athletes, I felt like there has been no dramatic deployment in this year's "Hakone Ekiden". Instead of this, there was many cases that siblings and twins were competed at same university or different university, and it had become a hot topic.
By the way, today was sunny at first time in this year. I went to Ushidake-ski slope with my grandchildren and could see Tateyama mountain range and Toyama bay, it was so amazing.
You're great to take your grand kids to ski much better than sitting along to watch TV like me. You are also an athelete to make effort for your family.
