It's really interesting and heart aching topics about senior dogs having got old and aging problems like people.
Before decades, dogs as well as other pet animals lived not so long died around 10 years or less.
Humans also lived only for 50 years old or less.
But now we come to live longer than 80 and pets live far more than 10 years old.
As the longevity of life gets prolonged sickness and diseases live together as the medical progressed.
We need to pay money for the length of life so much in the future not now and force young people to pay for it, too.
I think it silly to prepare for the unknown future but every one doesn't want to bother young people for themselves.
To live long healthy is not so easy ...but we care for the weak and help each other as long as we live.
It's the one of the phenomenas in the urban and long life's society.

An elderly person cares for an old dog. A human nursing home is similar. I did not know the dog to become senile either. I hope if there is a training of dementia prevention also dog.

My former dog Nao lived until 16 years old. But her life was hard to have suffered from numb with her back leg and senile and wandering for a year. I did care her like a baby. I did my best for her. I'm sure I will see my present dog Marrie until the last from my responsibility.

削除I was sometimes blamed for doing too much care to the dog by my mother, But I didn't hear her and did what I could do at that time. So I have no regret at all.

But It's hard for old and working owners to do so.
My cat is 14-years-old.He is about 70-years-old in cat's age.
He always sleeps, waddles and can't junp highly recently.He lost his weght about 1 kg.
I watch him getting old now.I'll take care of him to his end.
The animal will die in someday.I think it's a stroke to become his owner and live with him happilly.
I hope he is good and live long.
Yeah.....even cats or dogs want to live to the end with the owner.

I think senior home for pets has become necessary for people not able to care the end of the pets.
However, deposit pet care because became troublesome is irresponsible, it's required prepared to take care until the end.
We can't keep pets without thinking after ten more years.

I'd want to be a longevity that I can spend on health both physically and mentally as my parents was doing it.
I walked 15 kilometers to Tateyama-Midagahara climbing the Hachiro-hill from local railway Tateyama station at a regular meeting of the walking club today, and I was confirmed the health of the physical strength to be able to climb Hachiro hill again this year.
