It was heavy storm by the low pressure in the Northwest Pacific Ocean yesterday. It was very scary outside. I was very worried about the dahlia being shaken and beaten by the strong wind.
The windstorm blew up all day yesterday, didn't it? Yesterday, there was a big fire in Itoigawa during this windstorm. I will sympathize with those who were suffered from damage near the end of the year. In the garden of my house, the snow hanging post seemed to fall down with a big sway to the left and right. Although today's morning is calm in reversal yesterday, it seems that the temperature will fall down from now.
By the way, the bud of emperor dalia in the vase had gone redder from the day before yesterday, but it began to open seam when I saw this morning. Though you said emperor dalia can't bloom in the vase, my emperor dalia may bloom.
Oh...it's good to know that emperor dahlia's buds can bloom in the vase. I can't cut the trunk and prepare for next year because it has still having buds ...but I can do it next fine day and let them sleep in the warm place for next spring.
I also feel condolences to them who got lost and injured in the big fire there. It's very bad weather and storm makes the matter worse. Hope they can recover well and return their safe life back as early as possible.
A big fire of Itoigawa has brought about many unlucky to their people. I pray that they will get over unlucky. The fire is very scared. Especially fire accident will increase from now on. Let's be careful each other. In my house, I use a fan-heater. The Winter can't dry the laundry, so my wife think she wants hang the laundry out on over the kerosene heater. So I threw away it from my house several ten years ago. But if the electricity will stop, I think I need the kerosene heater.
I don't use oil nor gas at home. All electric energy supply is very easy and safe but not sure what if electric power would be down. But I don't care what will be what will be...wear thick, Hokkairo and something warm so on. Anyway, better safe than sorry.
We doesn't know to happen when and where and what in our life. I strongly felt it that with a big fire yesterday. I've prepare necessary goods in tha backpack for a disaster happens, but I wonder there are time of mind for carry out it?
By the way, I'm preparing for receive the children. Because the grandchildren are infant, there are many necessary goods. I would like to finish these jobs as much as possible on warm days.
It's the busiest season in a year, isn't it? I'm not so much as others but my daughter is having the time of carrying the baby soon but her scheduled day is in a month. She seems to give birth a baby earlier this time, too.
