Drove to the south on the route 41 before Takayama you can reach to the old restaurant, which serves Tofu steak, hormon famous in those area. It's open 11:00am but there was already a long queue around 10:00 am. I finally ate them at 12:00pm. It was a long wait and drive day.
It looks delicious. I want to eat Tofu steak, too. But I cannot eat it because I don't like a crowded place. I'd like to eat Tofu steak and Takayama Chinese noodles someday.
I never try to wait for a hour though it's so crowded. But this time I was talking with my friends and took time to wait for the turn...never do it alone by myself.
It's an good idea. Someday I'll try it with my wife. You are happy you can enjoy GW. My wife and I are going to clear our room from 4day to 5day. So she is in a bad mood a little today. Maybe we will go out tomorrow.
Is this restaurant "Kunihachi-shokudo"? I wonder does this restaurant is located in Hida Furukawa? I think "Kunihachi-shokudo" is located in Takayama City. I also ate the Tofu steak at "Kunihachi-shokudo", and I remembered that it was very delicious.
By the way, I and my wife don't have the special plan for Golden Week, but the family of my son went to the Nagoya area by car to watch pro-baseball game or to enjoy leisure land for two days and one night. During today's morning, I and my wife waxed at wooden floor corridor or room. After that, we harvested a lot of leaf vegetables such as spinach or komatuna in the field of my wife's parents house. In my home, we can taste fresh leaf vegetables at a dining table tonight.
There is the shop which can stand in line in the various places. I watched a long line of people in a dining room street of Hankyu Corporation. I was peeped it would be what of a shop. So, it was the shop of "Ampan".
By the way, I didn't use JR line more than 15 years. This time, I used JR after a long absence, but was puzzled by how to buy tickets. It was a round trip was by son's car, and other round trip was by JR. I enjoyed the changed the various train. Today is a local's spring festival
