I watched a cicada larva molting from the beginning to the end yesterday. It was a coincidence when I checked the cicada which had molted before yesterday( it was already a cicada from the shell), it was still staying at the trunk of the tree. To my surprise I saw two larvas staying the same tree and prepared to molt in the evening. So I was observing them to grow....

By the way, I was looking for presence or absence of a cicada molting in my garden yesterday and today. But, although husk of cicada was able to discover a lot, molting state could not be seen.

返信削除Thanks to your correspondence, I was able to watch the video of cicada molting state and very impressed again.
But it was slightly sorry that screen size of the video is a small and time was short.
If I was in there place, I would have taken all of the cicada molting process by the video shooting machine in full high-definition image.
Oh....sorry for my poor video....it was very slow for more than an hour. It's impossible for my iPhone to record all the scene.
