You went to Karuizawa before yesterday so you was eating breakfast yesterday morning, aren’t it? Although I visit to Karuizawa once a year too, never visited at this season. When I examine ”Sheridan" of Karuizawa on the internet, it is even rare breakfast specialty restaurants in Karuizawa having the same the menu and taste as "Sheridan" in Chicago, and it located near Karuizawa Ueno Museum. Would it be correct? In any case, it seems likely that the breakfast menu in the photo of blog is delicious and volumetric. I would like to go to this restaurant when I go to Karuizawa the next time.
You can visit and eat special breakfast at Sheridan in Karuizawa. It's located in Naka Karuizawa Shipzawa village near the curling stadium there. You won't miss it.
If searched for the phone number by the navigation of the car、this restaurant was "not applicable". It could not be searched without being posted on the navigation because this shop was opened in the spring of last year. But、I can search the curling stadium(Scup Karuizawa) and go there surely.
No wonder you didn't feel hungry until late at night. I have never had such a heavy breakfast. Everything looks delicious, though. You must have had a luxurious time there. My image of Karuizawa might be based on the movies I've seen, but I just thought it was out of my reach. The area is generally viewed as a resort where wealthy city dwellers have their second homes and spend their summer holidays, away from a hot and humid summer in the city. Reading your blog today, I now realize that it might be fun to visit there in the off season. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
You say something about Karuizawa a kind of resort and wealthy area but it has recently outlet mall and big shopping area, too. It also has winter sports facilities as well as summer holiday resort. People live and go to work to Tokyo by the bullet train. It seems like a great bed town.
