In Gokayama, there is still seen snowy landscape as expected, it seems truly like mountainous location. "Soba” and ”mountain plants" is delicious dishes, but "Gokayama-tofu" and "Hand-rolled sushi of iwana(?)" in the photo are unique dishes in Gokayama.
By the way, matter of heron's nest, I was observed from the observatory of the city hall yesterday that four heron had been state of brooding of eggs in the nest above the tree. (It was increased in one place than before) I am very pleasure that how much number of chick will be born from this nests.
Yeah...you know well about that lunch in Gokayama. Tofu and Iwana hand roll sushi are also very good! The herons are wild but they are well protected by many eyes ...hope their family live happily !
