Spring bloom
It was very warm yesterday.
It began to bloom here and there.

The doctor in the battle field
The doctor who is well known as a terminal care hospital and treat patients to go natural not against the aging problems or diseases.
His name is Minoru Kamata.
I knew his name as an author of "Ganbaranai" which tells his policy of treatment to test and help patients easy and comfortable to live in the end of their life in his hostile.
"Ganbaranai" means to help support recovery or hope to live joyfully. Giving feeling happiness and just removing pain, never giving painful operation nor surgery.
He's been to help support to Iraq since the Gulf War for 10 years.
He's still going to support there more often. The matters go worse and worse and more medical support is necessary.
I'm very moved with his mercy to help life not only in Japan but also the people in the worst poor medical war field.

Experiment
As it getting warm everything gets happily grow rapidly.
In my garden there grows lots of different kinds of weeds come time after time.
Actually it's very often to pull them in the evening but so tiring.
There is a spot which gathers with "sugina" roots.
I tried to cover the area with weed proofing sheet.
Then will I be able to be free from weeding so often?
I'm planning to make easy garden to care by myself.
But it seems very tough and will take a long time.

Monster watcher after the monster shopper
It's a new word of "Bakugai" means monster shoppers for Chinese tourists visiting Japan.
They purchased huge amount of things in Japanese shopping stores. They are supposed to be welcomed to use money in stagnated Japanese economy but they make a lot of troubles as well...as you know.

Flower frozen
It was very cold and began to snow in the evening yesterday.
Although I found cherry blossoms fully in my garden they might be frozen in the frost.
They are not Someiyoshino but Sakuranbo tree for about 20 years old when my kids were small.
I hope they can bear sweet fruits soon.

AI Great work?
It's reported AI ( artificial intelligence ) alias as Mr.Watson from IBM is adopted in a Japanese bank SMB.
It seems very unique but it'll be common in the near future world.
AI will work and so great in the big data because of its super developing learning skill. It's used for telephone assistance and researching category.
I'm not sure AI would be better than human power.

Bailey the therapy dog
This is a wonderful documentary film of the therapy dog, Bailey and the handler Morita.
I couldn't watch it without tears because of more than the human love but the love beyond the universe, limitless and enormous.
I can't explain my heart how much I've got to feel moved by them.
I just thank them for the much love!
By the way Bailey is from Australia. My daughter is now Mrs.Bailey.

Cold back!
I have cleaned the Air-Conditioner, which has been working during winter because I stopped it working warm for two days until yesterday.
The filter was packed with dust so I made it clean by the cleaner and give it done almost new!
I thought it will be unused until using cooler Air-condition.
But it was not like that! It got cool back so I had to turn on the A.C. in the warm condition.
It'll be cold for a while again.
I'm sorry not only me but also creatures waiting for the warmth.
They are also getting back inactive and have to set back in the warm place.

Hector the dog with prosthetic legs
It was yesterday's radio program on "Enjoy simple English" I regularly listen to, in which there was a true heartwarming story about a disable dog with no legs behind.
The dog's name is Hector. He was saved from the freezing cold outside when he was a baby but he had to cut off his two legs behind because of frostbite. After that he was lucky enough to be adopted and raised by a woman whose name is Lisa Korol. She'd been taking a good care of Hector and made him get a great gift. It's his prosthetic legs to walk like a healthy normal dog.
Hector is now so active and preferable to walk even on snowy road. He knows that he can mark every spot outside like a normal male dog and seems to enjoy life.
Lisa is telling to someone who is disappointed with life should come to see Hector. You'll be surely get encouraged by him.

Spring spring
I weeded in the garden for the first time this year.
After the snowy days green weeds grow fast and cover the ground immediately.
I planted some bulbs of flowers and then weeded for 2hours until getting dark in the evening.
I'm very surprised at the power of plants and growing power.
This topic is also amazing creature lately in the magazine.
The nematode worms are used for medical research.
It's said to enable us to check cancer. It's an awesome examiner!
It's reported that parasitic nematode worms such as Anisakis that are attracted by the smell of cancer. It's used for detecting cancer.
It's very unique and primitive way to find cancer.

Renewal
JR renewal starts today.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen finally debuts to take after Hokuhoku and Joets Shinkansen.
Many people have been waiting for that moment.
Yesterday Mr. Muir took pictures of the last run of the Twilight Express passing through the regular route.
He sent some of them with messages.
" I've never ridden the Twilight Express but I used to see them regularly when I walked on my way. I'll miss them ever and never see from tomorrow."
We will miss the old memories but welcome new things a lot hopefully.

Coffee may reduce diseases
I'm not sure whether coffee including caffeine could affect to reduce cancer, Alzheimer or Parkinson's disease but study on coffee says it could be better to prolong life.
The other hand caffeine is said to harm women's menopause or pregnancy.
Recently my daughter was in pregnancy she asked me to send her non caffeine coffee, so I sent her organic dandelion coffee.
It's said great effect to pregnant women.
I wonder coffee is good for you but I'm a coffee lover and drink a few cups a day.

The daughter following her father's will
The surgeon doctor Uchiyama was in the operation at the Ishinomaki hospital when the giant Earthquake attacked on March 11, 4 years ago.
He never escaped from the divested area and dedicated to help people who had big damages. He lived with the victims and injured people at there apart from his own family in the different city, Natori.
Though after a year he suddenly died of over work. His heart was depressed with heavy restless labor.
His daughter Yukino is now inspired by his respectable father and studying social medical worker to help people as his father did
She lives her life with his father's will.

Last few days
It's time for the new line "Hokuriku Shinkansen" starts to run soon, this weekend.
At the same time we will miss the familiar train "Hakutaka" which led us regularly to Tokyo for a long time before Joetsu Shinkansen.
We will give farewell Mr. Hakutaka on Friday.

The memory of taste
I've been searching for old memory of the taste in my school lunch.
It was fried beans. It tasted crispy and juicy as well as sweet and slight salty.
I had not eaten it for a long while and really want it.
I happened to get a recipe of the classic taste fried beans at the soy shop.
I tried it following to the recipe.
It was almost done. But it was close because I didn't use rice starch but corn's.
I was not satisfied with the taste yet but would never try again.
The cook with much oil would not healthy to me any more.
I'd better cook it without oil.
I will use more beans in different healthy recipe.

It was after doll festival yesterday.
We had a home party, " not a girl but a woman ".
We celebrated and enjoyed colorful decorated sushi made by the host friend.

Though in March it's still cold weather but not so bad just rainy wet.
As I was waiting for the spring so much it sometimes makes me feel down.
