Summer

Summer quote

There shall be eternal summer in the grateful heart. ~Celia Thaxter

No price is set on the lavish summer;
June may be had by the poorest comer.
~James Russell Lowell, The Vision of Sir Launfal, 1848

I like summer, especially in the early morning.
I wake up before sunrise but it's already been dim bright.
Not cold nor warm outside, walking my dog and watching sunrise give me calm and refreshed.
In every summer time I become an early bird.

I was very surprised to see the big mirror ball ahead of my car.
It was on my way home to drive a car.
The huge mirror has reflection of cars behind.....
What do you guess it is?

Ponyo and gyoza

I had a happy lunch time, Chinese noodle and gyoza with a fish called Ponyo which is a mascot at the Chinese restaurant.
Ponyo is named after the popular Japanese animation film character.
I don't know if he or she ...but people coming to the restaurant are always happy and feel healing with Ponyo because of its cute and lovely face and funny action like following people who like to watch Ponyo.
Ponyo seems to welcome customers and give lip service.
I enjoyed cold noodle and gyoza on a hot day.
Ponyo was swimming in the water as cool as usual.
I think it the most delicious gyoza in my taste.

PC to TV

Recently my life at night has changed.
I seldom watched TV in my room because I didn't like regularly hocked into watching TV before. So I had rather browsed Internet on PC than TV.
But I'm caught with TV almost every night because of Dlife and Fox cenema these days....I've never been bored with various kinds of series of programs every night.
I'm so enjoying detective, human love, serious and comedy drama every night that might make me dull.

And what's more addictive to TV is Apple TV, which a friend lent me to try 'AirPlay' with iPhone.
I also enjoy using 'Apple TV' not only AirPlay but also watching podcasts and videos.
I will more make use of TV via new technology.

Rio+20 U.N. conference

Sustainable development emphasizes a holistic, equitable and far-sighted approach to decision-making at all levels. It emphasizes not just strong economic performance but intragenerational and intergenerational equity. It rests on integration and a balanced consideration of social, economic and environmental goals and objectives in both public and private decision-making.
The concept of green economy focuses primarily on the intersection between environment and economy. This recalls the 1992 Rio Conference: the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development.

Get the Sun through your palms

I've heard that some raccoon dogs invaded the field and stole vegetables or a big snake appeared and found dead in front of the door in the morning these days. Though each of them live in the city, we were very surprised to hear the topics.
Recently we are far from nature and forget the wild life. We can say that we rather invaded wild life than being invaded. It is not surprising we could see any wild animals or insects around us unless we should use agrochemical or cultivate new land.
I sometimes come to think that we are not the owner of the land on the earth.
We better think our life are supported by the great life in the universe.
I feel happy if I realize my life will be contained in the universe.
This song also makes me great.
Hope you like the lyrics.

We are all alive
We sing songs as we're alive
We are all alive
That's why we feel sad
If you let your palms soak into the Sun
You'll see your blood redly streaming in your body

We learn that all living things, such as
Earth worms, mole crickets and even water striders, are the same as ours and friends on the earth.

Fashionable underwear

I found a cool gift for Father's Day.
It's a fashionable underwear, 'SHARETEKO' for SUTETEKO, which is traditional Japanese men's underpants.
It's really cool in summer!
I bought a suit of shirt and pants(kind of SUTETEKO) for my father.
I hope he likes it.

Scream in the morning

Noisy screaming above in the sky and two little birds with long tails are on the power line. They seem to make a check against crows around them.
Of course the crows are twice as big as them but the smaller ones are very aggressive and eccentric.
I guess they are protecting their nest from the burglar.
I don't know the noisy little birds but they might be ' Onaga ' in Japanese.

Restart reactors

An article from USA today June 14
"The mayor of the western town of Ohi on Thursday signed off on the plan to restart the town's two reactors. The prime minister has to give final approval, which Japanese media reports said will likely happen Saturday. The two reactors could be restarted as soon as this weekend."
It's an awful decision to restart reactors which are not certainly safe.
I feel like evil in mind all over Japan.
What do you think?
I think it crazy Japan is on the volcanoes!

Rainy season

It's good for plants and rice growing in rainy season. But humid and muggy air cause us chronic disorders such as rheumatism and gout.
Sadako has pain in her shoulders and neck. I took her to see the doctor.
As she had slight fever, she got good treatment, injections and pain killers.
I hope she will recover soon.
I think well aging is to live healthy and no pain. I really wish her happy life without pain.

Check the sole of the foot

I happened to watch the tv program,
'Kenko Capsule', it means for the good treatment to keep healthy.
It was about the sole of the foot which is very important part of the knees and back balance. Soles should have arch curves to protect from the pressure to damage knees or back.
If the arch were badly crashed by some reasons, healthy problems would occur on your knees and back aches.
So you'd better check your soles if they had good arches.

Good conversation

I listened to the car radio on my way to work.
In the program, the reporter introduced the interviewee ' the mother of Inujima in Okayama prefecture '.
Her name is Keiko Arimoto who made effort to renew the village. She is called ' 100W light in the rest room ' by her son. It means that he talks about her mother as much as 100W is bright enough in the rest room, as it were, she is so cheerful.
The reporter called her 'Inujimother ' instead of mother in Inujima.
I couldn't help laughing with the radio program and felt very happy from the morning.
Thanks for giving me happy smile and a good day.

Apartment with care support for the elderly

It's a good choice to move to the individual apartment with care support for the aged before going into the hospital as long as being healthy.
It seems tough to apart from the familiar place where for a long time they lived. But the most important thing is to live in the rest of life how much qualified without pain and inconvenience.
That's why I promoted that Sadako should move to the care support apartment near her, which her home doctor had introduced before.
It has been a while since she applied for the residence to the apartment because they were full and no vacant room then, last year.
So she had to wait the reply from the facility.
Finally after the long que, she's got an allowance to live in the apartment.
She will soon be free from cooking, washing and other domestic things.
Good for you,

I really feel apologized to them who had made efforts but it was in vain.
I want to explore the cause of the failure in my blog.
I found some clues for the phenomena.
It says that is from the Internet engine such as Internet Explore, Safari, Chrome or Firefox etc.
According to it, comments to Blogger are unavailable with IE8,9 and Firefox and other IE 6,7, 10 and Chrome are available to write comments.
I'm not sure until I got test and result of it. I will try to make out with the problems. Please let me know if you have something good tips.

Nursery care house

Yesterday, it was the first day that Sadako started to get the day care service regularly.
A month ago, a care manager who is responsible for her suggested to take care service to go to the care house.
Actually she had refused to go to such places. She wants to do things by herself as possible but now getting tired to take bathes or cooking.
When she got 92 years old last month, she decided to go to the day care service and made one day trial there.
She enjoyed her time there and never complained for the care service.
So her new life taking day service once a week started successfully.
I'm also glad that Sadako accepts her senior life with aged people like her for a moment with good care treatment.
She said to me,
' I finally become to go to the nursery senior home like a child.'
I'm relieved to see her smile.

I like jokes because they make me laugh and happy as long as being good.

Nowadays classical type of English jokes ' Knock Knock Joke ' is one of my favorite as well as Japanese jokes in Rakugo ' Dajare ' or such as ' Oyaji gyagu'

B: Jelly, who?

It is the rhyme between Jelly and very.
