Spring storm

It's said strong spring storm attacks all over Japan today. They alarm that you should come back home early to pretend problems effected by the storm.
There is an old saying
' If strong wind blows coffin dealer will be busy.'
It means that storm is very dangerous enough to kill people by an accident.
Spring storm is also harmful to the blossoms to bloom yet. I hope they are strong enough to be patient with the storm and bloom in later soon.

hail

It suddenly began to hail at around noon when I was driving in a car.
It's been strange weather so cold these days. Too cold for cherry blossoms to bloom this year. They will postpone their peeks of the year.
I just hope they will be in full bloom as long as possible.

The definition of the word

It's got huge amount of snow here...
The news says we have 90cm much snow fall after 26 years.
It seems weaker of the cold weather and bright clouds appear in the sky now. But not sure it won't snow any more again. Knowing that tomorrow will be fine. I'm relieved.

By the way I had a funny conversation with my room mate when I was in a dormitory. She was from Kansai area where the pacific ocean area with no so much rain nor snow all the season.
While I was from Toyama where rain and snow fall much amount all the year around. We often see gray and dark sky without sunshine. So we sometimes say 'It's got clear sky after rain drop' even in cloudy sky.

One day in rainy season in the room, I talked to her 'It's clear from the rain' in Japanese ' Ame ga HARETAYO '
She replied me 'It stops raining but not clear !' It means 'ANE ga AGATTA DAKE de HARETENAI YAN ' in Japanese.
I was so embarrassed at that time....
I had never keen thought about my strange Japanese. Her saying was right but mine was our local concept not for public one. Our Hokuriku area dialect is from the original situation.
When we had much rain or snow being bothered by the depression without sunshine for a long time, we tend to feel free from stopping rain or snow fall even it would not really clearly fine.
I had learned that different definition of word in a small country.

Now it is getting clear and clear in the sky but still cloudy ....I could say Fine!

Weather forecast

The weather forecast says the cold weather will stay longer, more than a week from now on.

I found snow flower this morning here and there on my way to work.
It was very beautiful though the coldness was on the peek.
We will have to be patient with coldness and snow on the road.
But sprout of spring will come out soon.

Cold summer

It's reported rainy clouds come around above Japan, especially North East and North part of the main land.
Actually we have been often attacked by the sudden heavy rain fall called 'Guerrilla downpour in the afternoon. Though we had been familiar to the evening squall, recent Guerrilla is not said to be the same as the usual summer shower in the evening.
I'm not sure enough to understand the difference between the Guerrilla pour and the evening squall in summer. But these rapid rain fall brings cold summer while reduces the number of heat stroke people. But it will cause other damages. For example, about the bad harvests in fall, more serious problems will happen.
We need to watch out the food production and the price will rise.
The most important thing that I can do is not to waste food. If we ignore the bad situation and waste food,our life will be more and more dangerous to survive.
I think it's end of the mass production and mass consumption and take and eat moderately instead.
