We have temples

There are some different meanings in English words.
This is broadcasted on the Radio English conversation program last week. It's so interesting to find the unexpected meaning in each word.

  2. When hearing the English word of "temple", we make an image intuitively the Japanese word of "Tera".
    But an English word has several meanings, hasn't it?
    I knew for the first time that "temple" is a meaning of "komekami" in Japanese.
    Indeed, I also have two temples in my body.

    By the way, I couldn't understand well meaning of "three stiches (or stitches) on his temple" in the text of blog.
    What kind of state is this?

    The meaning of the two temples in the dictionary was written.
    Foreign people say that it difficult because Japanese have a different meaning by accents.
    English is difficult to me.
