It is by chance. Actually, I found several Japanese ginger at the base of a tree in my garden yesterday. I and my wife was surprised with this happening because we did not remember to be planted it in particular. I am not good at Japanese ginger, but my wife was monopolized it as spice of somen and ingredients of miso soup because she is a great favorite.
