Here are everything bigger than in Japan. They seem to grow faster because it's warm and sunlight all the year round. Sometimes small plants die by too much sun beam.
In Australia everything is big, right? Does Australian have also a lot big heart more than in Japanese? By the way, I'm going to go to Tokyo in the early morning tomorrow, so I cannot a send comment on your blog. I'm sorry I couldn't send my comment on your blog yesterday. I drink Sake every night, so I cannot send my comment in the night. My daughter says to me. “You have to make no drink day!”
Are you sure " No Sake no life " will harm your health as your daughter says. So drinking Sake in moderate before you are forbidden by the doctor..,better control by yourself.
Plants are big in warm areas, aren't they? A few years ago, I was surprised to big plants when I went to Iriomote Island. In addition, a shijimi clams was very big. Even so, If the sun's rays are strong enough to wither the plant, it may not be good also for human. Please be careful of the sun's rays.
Maybe, I think although there is a difference between the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere, Western Australia seems to be the same climate as California of the U.S.A that I visited three times so far. Even in California, it's warm and strong sunlight all the year round and trees grow more bigger. Especially, I was fascinated by the splendor of the azure blue sky called "California Blue" and strong sunlight like the same as Perth. Because I was born in July, I like Summer very much.
By the way, it will be fine weather by forcast, but it was very cold and occasionally unseasonably snow danced in the morning today. However, from the afternoon the weather is changing rapidly with sunny or cloudy weather.
When I arrived here at the beginning of March I can't stay without AC but after a week or so it got cool rapidly now I need to wear long sleeves and cardigan inside. But outside it's 26C very sunny and clear.

There are mainly such plants which resist drying as cactuses and conifer as well as broadleaf tree different from ours.
