It never stops cold after cold this year. It's minus 5 degrees C this morning! But it's very bright and beautiful now. Still frozen outside but sprouts come out from the snowy ground. It's really exciting ! I can't wait for the warmth and clear blue sky.
When I took my garbage out this morning,still frozen outside. I live in an old apartment but the views here are wonderful. I can see the beautiful scense of Tateyama mounta in range over the living window on such a bright day. I feel comfortable today! I can't also wait for spring to come.
Every year at this season we feel blessed and refreshed. It were not for the cold winter days we could not have such a great feeling. Thanks for the seasons.
It was very cold morning, but today is really good sunny weather. Because it was good weather, I went to coast of Amabarashi by car. Magnificent Tateyama mountain range looking through the Toyama Bay was very nice great views I think this spectacular landscape is to be proud of around the world. By the way story is different, and it reported that heavy snow in the Touhoku region from the Hokuriku region of the Sea of Japan on TV, especially in Sukayu of Aomori there was snow 5.65m. My elder sister who lives in Kansai anxious to see this TV, made a phone to me, though there is no snow in Toyama almost. It's a little funny story.
We are very lucky to have little snow inspire of all severe cold. It doesn't as bad as in Tohoku area, Aomori. I'm very sorry about those who are struggle with enormous snow fall never had before.
I agree with you when you said that if it were not for a long cold winter, we wouldn't appreciate the arrival of spring, not as much as we do in Japan. In this sense, I am happy to live in Japan where we have four distinct seasons. Of course, I feel sorry for those who have been struggling with unprecedented heavy snowfall in the northern part of Japan. I do hope spring will come earlier than usual this year.
They say that people who live in the cold winter are more patient and pure minded than in the tropical land. I think it true because the coldness and snowfall purify the evil. After the snow melts things are invited by Spring sunny angel.
Those who suffered from the cold can only be blessed by the Sunshine. Those who suffered from the problems can only catch the importance of life. I really respect the patient people in the hard time.

This morning was very cold indeed. But today`s weather forecast was fine! I thinked "Lucky! I want to wash our sheets." Thankfully,weather was sun shine and temperature was warmer and warmer,my sheets were almost dried. Add one,I went to "マリエ" for blood donation but I could`t. Because I went dentist on this monday. I forgot after treatment we could`t do blood donation for 72 hours. It was unlucky. Then I had a time to meet a friend after "マリエ". Today was more lucky for me.
