Snow field and Clear fine sky

We are going to cross the ridge from Joetsu to myoko IC. It's restricted to wear chains on the tires because of snow. But we put off the schedule to start until the restriction will be released.
It's getting sun-shining and warm so we might go without chains.
I know over the ridge there is a different world from the north west pacific ocean area!
I will enjoy earlier spring soon.

The coldest season

The season the coldest in a year
But I feel like hopefully on the top of the coldest
Because it's much easier to be getting warmer from the freezing coldness.

They say the coldest season from around 20th in Jan. for a couple of weeks until Feb. 4, the first day of spring on calendar.
I also like day breaking getting earlier and evenings coming later.
Be patient for a while to catch lovely spring!

to live or to be lived

There are two days and today left in this year end...in 2011.
It was a terrible hard year in history like in bad dream or in hell. Not only in Japan but also world wide on the earth, we are facing the crisis to live forward.
I used to talk to myself that nothing is forever but I still seek for something forever in my life. It made me think like that because of the death close to me.
We can't avoid death nor control life time even through I offered to give my time to someone dying. We can't live long more than 100 years. Life is short so we accept the limit and just live cheerfully in the end.
I learned to live fullest to enjoy time Now. The power of Now is very important.
Natural disaster and human disaster killed a lot of people at that time. Even though one life I missed brought me grief and sorrow. While the thousands people lost their life in the water and under the crashes, it occurred to me that life is too tough to live ...I thought of rather dying than living left alone.
But life is more precious than anything else....I still imagine great pleasure in life and I can live and support as well as being helped by someone else.
The year of 2011 gave us great task and testing in the future.
Empty mind and hopeless bring me nowhere but I just want to hear the sound of nature and ask who I am.
I think Now is the time to think of
'Memento mori', means 'think of death' in the end of the year.

The beginning of winter

It was clear and fine in the day time. Though it was the beginning of winter on calendar.

I found a whale in the sky!

It really seems happy swimming in the blue sky.

October

It starts October today.
Chinese character describes it 'Gods' month'.
They say that Gods from all Japan gather and have meeting in Izumo shrine in October.
During God absence in the local city, sub God keeps for the absence. There used to be festital in each shrine.

It was an autumnal beautiful day.
I ate out Echizen soba for lunch.
Soba with soup (soba tsuyu), and grated radish as topping.
It was very light and healthy Japanese noodle.
I love it very much.

Harvest season

It's time to get crops in the rice field.
They are golden heads appearing tall enough to be harvested.
A fine good day in the blue sky gives farmers great gift.

Cool morning

It wasn't any clouds last night, so the heat went out of the ground and the temperature this morning was around 17C.
It's the lowest for the last two months.
I felt very cold and sneezes and runny nose came out....so terrible!
I've got an allergy nose recently.
It's because of getting old or something weak in my immune system.
I think it's really bad for me that the difference of the temperature such as hot and cold a day causes me serious allergy symptom.
I need pill to stop sneeze whenever it makes me allergy active.
I will be more careful in the sunny cold morning when the the air would turn cold in the blue sky.

The end of summer

Summer holiday is almost over.
Children are driven to deadline to finish homework.
I remember I used to feel sick in the end of the summer holiday when I was a student.
It was because I didn't save time enough for the homework but spent time for uselessness.
I miss the school days but don't want to have stressful deadline any more. (>_<)

It still seems hot, lingering summer in the day time.
But insects in fall gradually start to sing in the evening.

I happened to see an insect sticking on the car bumper in the park at the store.
It was pity that the body was half cut and not alive.
The young life might not sing long before going off.

Autumn rainy season

Autumn rain is coming up from the south and taking over Japan instead of summer heat.
It alarms much rain and flood in some areas as well as high tide alarm in the coasts. Please take care if you have an alrm.
They say it is changing rain in each season.
We will also have typhoons and thunderstorms later in September and October.
It is getting to increase more cool days than warm term.
Each rain brings you close to cold winter though Autumn is the best season to spend in a year.
Now I won't need to buy ice cream for a while.

The tracks of MA ON

Typhoon Ma ON the 6th curved to the East of the Pacific Ocean and went along to the northern East Cost Japan.
It was not 'Margon' but 'MA ON' from the name of the mountain in Hong Kong.
We were very lucky that it avoided to attack mainland of Japan.
It's still active slowly going up and observed hot air, making Japan cool down at last.
It was really strange temperature went down around 25C in the day time.
I could stay at home or in a car without AC. I felt even cold in the evening and wore the long sleeves and pants last night!

It's said the summer heat will come back soon.
But I'm afraid so much big change of the temperature in a short period will cause problems to the nature as well as human bodies.
Anyway....we need to survive better and stay healthier as possible.

Typhoon Margon is coming up

The sixth typhoon called Margon arrived southern west Japan, Shikoku now.

It will go to Northern east Japan. Tomorrow morning 20 July, most of mainland of Japan except Hokkaido will be rainy by the influence of the typhoon.



It's said that our area will be hot around 36 C because of a foehn phenomena.

We will not be affected by the strong storm but high temperature by Margon.

Yesterday was the Marine day. People start to enjoy sea water during summer.

But very careful not to approach the dangerous beach when the typhoon is up coming.

We'd better stay at home turning on AC or going out somewhere cool inside.

Only a month and a half ago I felt cold and wore thickly but now can't do even a pair of thin socks.

I'm sure it will come that I need Jackets and pants soon after a month.

I will enjoy the hotness in a short period of summer.

Rainy Season's over

Japan Weather Assoc. annaunced the East and West of the middle part of main land including Hokuriku, which is my area have got summer time today.
we have this summer two weeks earlier than usual year, it says.
But I have not yet heard of cicadas' singing as usual.
I feel like strange of this year extremely changing hot and cool.
It caused my allergy with frequent sneeze and runny nose.
I'm afraid that strange weather affected the lives that are going to live only for one summer time.

Season for hydrangia

It was declared that rainy season has just come lately.
It seems delayed compared to the usual year.
I finally come to see the flowers of hydrangia.
I've arranged some of them and enjoyed some more later.
