Special talk

I found an useful interview article with Mr. Chida who is a specialist to manage English teaching skill to support English learners as well as English teachers who belong to schools.
I've joined his workshop for 120 minutes with my coworker English teachers before. My daughter had also had his continuous lessons at school when she had been at the "Super English High School".
His lecture was not like those passive one but active and interactive. It was really attractive and full of joy to study English.
Of course he adopted smart jokes. I really admire such a sense of humor as he.
There is one in this article.
When he asked his father what Kuchizuke meant, his father answered that was an American pickles.
Oh....my! Kiss is a type of American pickles LOL!!!
It made me laugh a lot.

  1. Today's blog is very meaningful for us who are learning the English introductory course, isn't it?
    I understood that your attractive lecture for us was the origin by join workshop of Mr. Chida.
    By the way, trigger for my learning English conversation was the conversation between foreigner and children when I joined Halloween party of ECC Junior of grandchildren.
    In addition, I was actually experience the importance of "read aloud until to memorize" in this English speech contest participation.
    But, I am not good at improvisation English conversation yet.
    I would like to aim to be able to speak without reading the document from now.

    1. My answer is not always yes but part of being inspired by Mr. Chida. I was much influenced by many lecturers such as Katsuaki Togo, Kumiko Torigai, Toru Matsumoto, Ken Toyama and so on. Thanks to there are still lots of attractive workshops.

  2. What should I aim at?
    Is it may be I learn the words a lot? or should I learn a phrase? and always distressed, watching TV program of
    English conversation.
    For the time being, I'll to continue it! maybe...

    1. A good word for you " learn by heart" it will lead you to lean and enjoy English by yourself.

  3. I learned English for about 6 years, but I could't speak English well.
    When I remembered the high school day,I didn't read English aloud until I memorized.
    Now I don't read aloud too.
    I can't speak English without saying.
    It was a reasonable thing but I forgot it.
    I'm looking forward looking Mr.Chida's interview article in next time.
