A rare vegetable

I've got a rare vegetable called
"Habock", a kind of pumpkins which was raised in the kitchen garden.
It's original in Korea and it tastes like zucchini.
I cooked it fried with olive oil and basil sauce topping with leaves and tomatoes.
It's a good season dish at last.
Thank you Margaret for your home made product.

  3. I also knew the first time "Habock" in this blog.
This seemed like a thick cucumber at first glance for me.

By the way, I came back to Toyama from the United States at late last night.
But, my comment reply was delayed today because it had a slight jet lag.
This Yosemite National Park trekking tour was pretty hard, but I could enjoy many vast and wonderful landscape and nature.
In addition, I was able to experience cable car ride and the downtown slope walk of the specialty of San Francisco on the last day, too.
