A dreadful nightmare

Suppose the river Arakawa were destroyed by the unprecedented downpour what would happen in the central metropolitan Tokyo.
This is the dreadful nightmare but it might be unless the cautious protection and secure provision should be done.
It happened that east Japan enormous flood disaster unexpectedly. It was an awful devastating.
They say it may happen in everywhere in Japan. I'm really worried but we need to learn from the bad experience and seek for better life.

  1. This morning, An expert of the disaster prevention said on the radio that it become difficult to protect the town by the river and banks for sending the rainwater to the sea.
And he said that it need to think about a device to lead the water of the river to another place when a large quantity of rain feel.
I think that we need a place to collect the water from the river, such as are Kanda River of Tokyo and Matsukawa of Toyama building.
The day of calm weather like today, I forget the terrible disasters.

  2. The documentary of fiction attached to this blog that was assumed Arakawa flooding is very serious, isn't it?
But I think that it is possible to occur if Tokyo replace the situation of Joso-shi where Kinugawa overflowed.
In addition、similar great disaster is possible to happen even in Toyama if a heavy rain to exceed far imagination falls because there are many big river here.
It has been said from old days that Daiwa department store (now Kirari) was submerged in water if the Jouganji River overflowed.
It is necessary to have mental preparedness of "Tomorrow it might be me" because recently, a natural disaster or disasters occur in succession in many places of Japan.

    1. Indeed...recently Japan seems like a department of disaster, earthquakes, landslide and flood. No other protection than preparation for the happening.
