It was fine and shinny.
I went on my way back home in the evening after meeting my friends from Tokyo.
It was blue sky until before Echigoyuzawa.
But there was a scene covered with snow and white world cross over the tunnel.
It was amazing difference between the east and the north west of Japan!

You experienced summer and winter in a day.I had never been to the countries of the Southern hemisphere.What did you feel?
I sometime want to go to Tokyo in winter extremely.I want to see blue sky and feel dry air in Tokyo.
When I come back to Toyama, I'm always suprised at the scene of Echigoyuzawa in snow and the fine placebefore crossing over the tunnel.
Where will the scene change to a snowscape when we take Hokuriku bullet train in winter?
I always feel strange that the train staff changes from Naoetsu because of the different company from JReast from west!

返信削除When I saw yesterday's your blog," I'm in Tokyo", I thought arbitrarily that you return by plane to Toyama.
But you go back by train, and you had to experience that " passed through the tunnel, and there was in snow country".
In a sudden change in weather between the hot Australia, do you feel the more cold?
It's OK because I had known it too bad before then it's much better than expectations.

Perhaps, I think there were many snow along "Hakutaka line" and you have felt the beginning of "Snow Country" of Yasunari Kawabata.
Please be careful the physical condition because Toyama currently are during the winter midst.
By the way, in my home have been hit by influenza from four days ago followed the end of last year of norovirus disease.
Two grandsons and their parents were onset from one after another except me and my wife and granddaughter, but they are gradually getting better.
For this reason, at last night I had put in bath granddaughter who born at last year for the first time.
Oh...your family has been hit by virus one after another.
