It's reported that JR west reform their shop in the railway station from KIOSK to Seven Eleven.
KIOSK is the name of the small stand shop in the railway station in Japan. The origin of the name is from Persian and Turkish, it means hut or small house in the garden.
Now is the convenience stand in English.
We will see 7-11 more everywhere in the railway station.

Although often used by the "Kiosk" when I travel long-distance by railway in the old days, it have not use mostly recently.
返信削除Convenience store "Seven Eleven" was opened a lot of store in this area recently, and its share is expanding rapidly.
I think although it is lonely that "Kiosk" of familiar for many years will be disappear, this is the trend of the times.
Nothing is forever though it longed a hundred years.

The space of KIOSK is narrow.
The cleak knows where a good is and stretchs out to get it and hands it to a shopper at once.
