Here comes the season that apples are main fruits in these days.
We can taste delicious season gift gratefully.
I watched about the apple farmer to produce their fruits with so much effort and need lots of labors.
But it's been so hard do with them because being lack of workers.
Then great helpers are coming,
They are "marukobachi" a bit smaller than regular honey bee.
Farmers are taking care of marukobachi and in return they help farmers to work with apple flowers to give pollen instead of human powers.
What a clever idea! It's also Eco-friendly.
I thank to all of their efforts including marukobachi a lot.

返信削除My mother has middle field. She grows many vegetable and flower.
Many insects will be in the field. (Of corse there will be bad insect.)
I think they will works with her. Nature is great.
I take many vegetable from her. Daikon,Hakusai,negi,etc...It's winter farm product.
I greatly thank her's effort and field and insect.(I help her very very little.)

I didn't know "Mamekobachi" did the pollination of the apple.
返信削除Besides, I knew for the fiest time that farmers have been combined the timing of Mamekobachi's emergence and flowering of the apple.
Next time when I eat apple of Aomori, I'll remember the Mamekobachi.

It became a season to make "Senmaizuke of turnip" at Osawano.
Thogh "Senmaizuke of Kyoto" slice a turnip by the slicer, Osawano use the kitchen knife.
I love Senmaizuke of Osawano.
I love turnip sliced and soaked in sour. I often make many kinds of vegetable sour like Senmaiduke and also sand buri or saba fish sushi with the sliced sour turnip.
